How long does a Silk Press last?
Answer: In my professional opinion a silk press done correctly can last up to 30 days. Even though your hair may stay straight for 30 days itβs not healthy to go to long without washing your hair. I would recommend leaving your silk press no more than 2-3 weeks max.

What are the proper steps to achieve a healthy silk press?
Answer: The tools most stylist use are blow dryers, flatirons and sometimes hot combs. When it comes to the process we all have our own way of doing things. The steps I take #1 THE WASH, #2 THE BLOWOUT, and #3 PRESS. Every step is important to me if one isnβt done correctly the over all look wont be what I desire.
